From our reception we are happy to give you information and make reservations for you for all the local attractions, actvities and tours available in the area. These include boat trips to the Sunken City of Kekova and Meis Island, Saklikent Gorge, escorted trecking along the Lycian Way, Demre, the home of Noel Baba (Father Christmas) and nearby Kaputaş and Kalkan. For the more adventurous there are also jeep safari, sea kayaking, diving, scuba diving and paragliding. We are happy to organise the local taxi service to collect you from the hotel or the Kaş Bus Station, where the local and national buses arrive and leave is only a 10 minute walk away.
Büyükçakıl Plajı or Big Pebble beach, just a 15 minute walk and minibuses has a ring half an hour in front of the hotel. The town of Kaş also has a 2011 year built new marina.
In this part of Turkey you are never far away from the past. In the centre of Kaş there are the remains of a well preserved Lycian tomb and you only have to look up toward the mountain above the town to see ancient Lycian rock tombs. From Kaş Rhapsody Hotel it is a 45 minute drive to the World Heritage site of Patara. Here you will find the world famous 18 kilometre sandy beach and magnificent ancient ruins. Nearby is the ancient capital of the region, Xantos.
Kaş Market Every Fridayin Kas Town, and only a 10 minute walk away to Rhapsody Hotel Kaş, there is a lively market where you will find cotton and leather products, local craft items as well as a very refreshing drink called karlama. It is a mixture of mountain ice from the Elmalı region mixed with grape juice and cinnamon.
Saklikent gorge and river. Experience nature at its finest at Saklikent Gorge. Walk through the gorge following the path of the river then relax in the ottoman seating and hammocks at the riverside cafes. Saklkent is a 2 hours drive from the Rhapsody Hotel Kaş.
